Equine section kicks off (Spring 2009)

The Equestrian Centre has recently been re-launched, providing full and part-time courses as well as riding lessons for the public.

The facilities include an indoor arena (42m x 22m), outdoor arena (50m x 40m) and two stable blocks, with 18 quality schooled horses based permanently on the yard, providing a suitable mount for all abilities. A workshop in early 2009, with Joanna and Roger Day on ‘ Spooks Busting' for the National Diploma provided students with a practical insight into horse psychology and a comparison to more traditional methods and attitudes toward the training of horses.
